[9] | LMC: I think the 353 5th Ave address I gave you earlier is not actually Nils address, I think it is the address of the Passport office and I think that is located in the Empire State Building. Maybe he was in a hurry to get his passport and could get it faster if he picked it up at the office instead of having it sent to his home address. |

Äktenskap med Kerstin Maria Rystrand (1895 - 1935)
Noteringar
Partner in tailor business called Holmgren and Rydstrom Inc. Makers of Men's Clothes 13 East 47th St. NY, NY (Victor Rydstrom).
He returned to Stockholm and Degerfors, Sweden June 12-28, 1921 singing with the Brooklyn Swedish Men's Choir. Applied for US Passport April 28, 1921 to travel to Sweden with men's choral society 5'11 blue eyes brown hair, merchant tailor
Looks like in the 1920's Brooklyn Census the Holmgren household with Nils, Alice and Vivien had an Irish nurse living with them. I can only assume she was there to watch 8 year old Vivien as a nanny figure. So, when Nils decides to go to Sweden on a Swedish Men's Choral Society trip in 1921, I am assuming again that that is where he met Swede Kerstin Rystrand who had originally came to America in 1916 and was living with some cousins in New Jersey as a typist or office staff. I'm guessing that she was returning home for a visit and sometime during the voyages between the two countries they met. They must have married when they returned to America, but have yet found the proof.
